Basketball for 45 minutes in the driveway with the family (they’re no good but you still run around a shit ton)
55 minutes lifting weights
20 minutes on the Muay thai bag

Finally getting to the point where I’m totally exhausted but feel great and even though I worked out for 2 hours straight I wish I could keep going. Unfortunately life doesn’t allow for it. Neither does my body at this point.

Haven’t smoked or drank in 2 weeks. Best I’ve felt in a long time.

Although I'm getting old and grey, I am trying to get back into the swing of things. Anyways for those who use supplements I highly recommend the Mutant Brand of products. I'm using their gainer, which is excellent and a pre workout called Kill Switch, which has 'Grains of Paradise' in it. Really interesting compound - mix of spices related to the pepper, ginger and citrus families. Very good stuff but very potent.

Looking amazing brother!

I'm looking to get a home treadmill for my wife & I. We're both in our 60's & looking for something for walking (no running/jogging). Something portable so we can easily move it. I've seen a lot in the $3-500 range that have what we're looking for - incline option, handlebar. Reviews seem to be all over the place or not enough reviews to figure out if it's decent.
Does anybody have any recommendations?

I have no recommendations in that price range but I do have 1 question: is walking outside not an option?

The reason that I ask is that not only does treadmill walking get very old, very fast but walking outside is so much better for you; fresh air, vitamin d, etc.

I had a treadmill for years and would only use it for high-intensity interval training. All my walking was outside.

Yeah, I get it. In 'decent' weather it's fine walking outside. Our neighborhood is one-way in/one-way out so traffic is all local to the neighborhood. But rainy and/or cold days make it impossible to walk outside. 'Cold' being anything that makes the ol' joints hurt. Add high humidity days & the days to walk outside dwindle down.
Apparently, these lower priced "under the desk" treadmills became popular during the pandemic & are still popular with more people working from home. They are relatively light (50-75 pounds) and provide basic treadmill functionality.

After 4 days of (relative) gluttony and excess in New Orleans, I need to get my ass back in gear.

The day after the above post I began 14 days of the most f’ed up version of the flu/covid? that I have ever experienced. First 2 days I thought I might die, the next 2 days I wished I would. Long story short…today was my 1st day back in the gym since traveling to New Orleans for the game.

A bit weak but good to be back at it.

I would recommend looking on Craiglist or Facebook marketplace. People sell them CHEAP on there.

I bought one that costs like $1500+ brand new for $200 from someone. We bought it like 12 years ago and it runs fine still. It's almost the same type you would see in a commercial gym. It goes up to 12mph and up to 15 degrees incline I think.

Last year when I was leaning up I started doing LISS - low intensity steady state training - and installed a TV in the room where our treadmill was. I would just pop on Netflix or a Youtube video for 25 mins and do my cario. I would walk at 3.5mph - 4mph but on a 12 degree incline for 25 mins, and it is harder than it sounds and I am dripping sweat like 10 minutes in.

Burning off some anxiety-induced energy today in the gym. Is it 8:30 yet?

Incline Bench Press
Machine Fly
Seated Military Press
Dips
Arm Blaster Curls

(PSA- 12oz curls or whiskey curls don’t count here.) 😉

I have no clue how I am going to hit shoulders/traps today after drinking till 1am last night lol. It's going to be rough.

I am definitely hitting it up and feel a lot better after having 60oz of water and 3 advils lol. I'll be working out in 30 mins.
