It's called Wodify. I think you have to be a member at a crossfit gym for it to display anything. It's how we register for classes and what not.

Sweated through my socks tonight... That's a first. Made it to the second round of lunges, holy balls.

Give em hell Super Henry! Mind over matter. If you don't mind it don't matter!

Thanks everybody! I survived the test and I think I passed it. It was brutal though. My hamstring held up until the very last match, when I was sparring two red belts at once. I went to throw a kick and I felt the dreaded 'pop-pop' and crumpled to the ground. I did manage to get to my feet and finish the fight in a boxer's stance throwing only punches and no more kicks but my leg was done after that. Fortunately the test was over after that. Had my leg given out an hour earlier I would have been finished, and I would have been SERIOUSLY pissed.

Anyway, I don't officially know if I passed for an couple days, and I'll be limping around for at least two weeks. I came home and ordered a large pepperoni and Italian sausage pizza and promptly ate six pieces, and I am currently enjoying a margarita on the rocks and watching Captain America with my son. Tomorrow I sleep a lot. The End. :)

Super Henry lives!!!!!!

Got the call about an hour ago. I passed!

It only took me 28 years but I finally got that 2nd degree. :)

Thanks guys for putting up with my progress reports over the past year or so. It's been great to have a place to talk/vent about it. Believe it or not, it really helped.

About time.

But seriously, congrats. Now you are the second baddest dude to ever walk the dc streets behind jhoon rhee

Congrats Henry! Really impressive - I'm in awe!

Awesome man! sorry so slow to tell you how extremely proud I am of this awesome accomplishment! You are THE MAN!

Thanks again all. I feel like I've been hogging all the attention in this thread for awhile so I'm gonna step back and take a breather. Hammy is still pretty sore but I did manage to get a walk in today. I'm guessing it'll be July before I do any serious running/kicking at this rate.

So enough about me. :) What's cooking this summer for you guys?

Yeah, you haven't been harassing me nearly enough on Facebook...lol

Um hello, your testing is a pretty big freaking deal! I know I'm not the only one who enjoys hearing about this major accomplishment. Plus, it's inspiring to hear about other people's health journeys. :D

Been doing lots of cross-training for October's Tough Mudder. So, instead of my usually heavy lifting during the winter, I'm working on leaning out; I've split resistance training into 2 days a week of lower body/2 days of upper body, doing 10-12 reps in all of my sets and 30 rep burnouts at the end of each set once or twice a week.

For cardio, I'm playing tennis about 3x a week and trying to increase my running volume switching between 1-2 mile runs and days of 400, 200 and/or 100m sprints. Next month I'll start working in hill running and hill sprints. I'm determined not to completely suck it up at the Tough Mudder!

You're out of control SK. Hell I got shin splints from reading that.

So am I the only slacker here lately and everyone else is killin it in the gym?

Nope, with a new kid and fresh from a wedding I haven't been to the gym in months and barely run right now.

I'm starting back tomorrow

Getting ready to be tested for my next rank in Kung fu this week (if they think I'm ready). Brown Sash is a bit on the tougher side. Pretty sure I'm ok on forms and weapons, but there may be some problems with multiple opponent fighting for me. I'm nursing a bad shoulder that's 80% healed
