Hopefully all of you make it safely here and are not cooked tomorrow! I saw the President pardoned a turkey yesterday...hopefully it was one of you!

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. The complex where my folks live did allow one visitor per household there and I spent the day with them. Took a lot of food - my mother can only cook so much these days. Same for my step-father. But we made it work.

My daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughters were allowed to visit the day after Thanksgiving. He left very early on Sat. and Sun. morning for deer hunting - he has now bagged six bucks total in three states and he wants two more. He gave me the venison from a 9 pt., so I am set for a few months. The girls left early Sunday afternoon. We also made Saturday afternoon and night our Christmas - just too many restrictions on me and the campus here to do Christmas later this month.
