I've got more than a few, but currently, I am absolutely transfixed by the History Channel's 'American Pickers'. Watching these guys enter broken-down sheds, garages, and barns, and find amazing pieces of American culture...it's totally addicting. I want to BE these guys :)

What gets you going on trash TV in some inexplicable way?

Project Runway.

I hate reality TV but Runway for some reason does something for me.
Maybe it's b/c people are creative to come up with some decent looking outfits in a day or two. Maybe, the fact that people can sew pretty well...I don't know.

The only other reality show I ever had much interest in was the Japanese version of Iron Chef......cooking for honor.

I guess Top Chef would qualify - love that show, but its becoming more and more of a "reality show" every season. Manufactured drama, personality clashes, etc.

True Blood also - its trashy, redneck, bloody, Vampire semi-porn.

Iron Chef America - enough said.

Not sure it is a real guilty pleasure TV show, but I got hooked on those pompous ***es from American Pickers too Boone for the same reasons as you.

About 10 years ago, I remember sitting in the dining room with my ex-fiance and some of her friends. We were discussing this very subject. The girls were chatting about it and I chimed in, "You guys know what my guilty pleasure is on TV?" At this point my ex-fiance chimes in and says, "Porn!" :rotflmao: I said, "No! WWF" a.k.a. WWE

Today I would have to say, Dexter. Umm...how can you seriously root for a serial killer?:insane:

Alright. I'll be the first to admit it.

I like Glee.

Well, with Henry mentioning Glee, I feel decidedly less ghey admitting that I really like The Biggest Loser. :)

Besides Iron Chef, enjoy watching Chopped on Food Network.

Two other shows I enjoy is Deadliest Catch and Ice Road Truckers. If had to rank the four, would have Iron Chef and Deadliest Catch 1-2.

Alright. I'll be the first to admit it.

I like Glee.

That is the GHEYEST THING I'VE EVER HEARD!!

I totally called Sue voting for New Directions. Also, do you think Rachel and Finn will finally get together next season?

I justify it because it is ostensibly about football, but Friday Night Lights is definitely a man soap. And it is AWESOME.

Parenthood is also a nighttime soap, but the wife and I love that as well.

My purest guilty pleasure though would have to be Kitchen Nightmares. I really love watching Ramsey crush stupid restaurant owners.

Forgot one of my favorite shows to watch, few times a year it is on, is Barrett-Jackson auction. Enjoy doing the fantasy bids.

My main crap show is the Bachelor and Bachelorette. The shows are staged and the people have a combined IQ of under 70, but I can't stap watching it. I probably need to see a psychiatrist or something to figure out my underlying problem.

Other shows I love:
Rescue Me
Pawn Stars
all the CSI's
Biggest Loser
Losing It With Jillian

and that's about all the TV watching I'm going to admit to.

Holmes on Homes
Pawn Stars
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives

Pawn Stars is pretty damn addictive :)
Along with Bizarre Foods....

theres a good percentage of these shows i dont feel guilty for loving. like deadliest catch; that show is about the most dangerous job in the world and people die on it.

Yeah, I was thinking more along the lines of things you probably shouldn't like, but do.

(Like, Dale Earnhardt Jr. for instance.) :nana:

For me the guilty pleasure part comes from I've got more important crap I "should" be doing, but watch anyway. Character flaw. :insane:

Yeah, seems like some are just listing their favorite shows.

Another "guilty pleasure" show I like to watch whenever I catch it on is Antiques Roadshow. Kinda cool to see what old crap people have in their attics is really worth a lot of money.

I feel like less of a man for having typed that...lol.
