Chris said: Extra credit for not turning the game off. 😉
Unlike me. I'd had a very long day, and made it through the first half. At that point I knew beyond any shadow of a doubt we were not going to come back and win that game. I mean, I knew. Turned it off, set my phone to Do Not Disturb, read the NYT a little and went to sleep. Saved myself a lot of bile.
The single play that said the most to me about that game was the Giants going for it on 4th and nine from our 35, with 2:23 to go in the half, in a one-score game ... on this drive:
Not only was it indicative of how little NY feared our defense at that point, but the utter disdain/disrespect they had for our offense. They were taking our lunch money, slapping us across the face and saying "do something about it."
We didn't.
I'd seen enough.
