Game thread: Skins/pats

The running game is particularly stale. Not sure what to make of it.

I don't like the lack of discipline tonight - bench penalties, 2 (at least) facemask penalties so far - sloppy....

Bench penalties are nonsense.

How stupid does a player have to be to do that?

He needs to get his butt up and back to the line after dropping the pass earlier.

Campbell's going to actually be banged up - in a frigging preseason game.

Wanna know why you play like it matters when your first team is in there, even IN the preseason? Because if you don't, you're going to get your QB beat up. Moss is taking a beating too.

Anyone have any theories on the difference between the first possession, and the last three?

Did the Patriots "adjust?" Did the Redskins use up any real scheming they had for this "game" and are now just working on looks and creating matchups to put on film? Do they just flat suck and the first drive was a mirage?

I kinda feel like it's a bit of both. The Patriots are still are pretty elite team. We're not. I think if we're able to make something out of this drive, it'll give our guys a lot of confidence and will certainly speak to whether what we saw was a mirage or not.
