Since we have been in this position a few times this year, Cincy cannot know if we are willing to throw deep or run it. Go with 3 wide to soften their defense and run it straight up the gut with Morris.

OK, the ball did not touch the goal line, the body of the ball landed smoothly in the field of play but the nose of the ball was over the goal line...what it the call? Broke the plane, right?
 
You've scored the last 17 points in this game. Your offense is gaining momentum, your defense made a few stops to help you stay in the game, you're at home, and unwilling to play for the win. Makes little sense to me to put there, despite the fact that we might be very well pinning the Bengals deep in their end.

At the end of the day, who do you have more confidence in? Your defense to make a critical stop, or your offense to gain a yard? It's not even debatable. I wouldn't trust Haslett's defense.
 
That gutless call infuriates me...Shanahan coaches scared two weeks in a row.

Just when things began to look good, we make some terrible play calls. After the fumble we go 3 and out because Kyle abandons the run. The next drive we are sitting with 4th and 1 inside their territory and they punt when we are have momentum?
 
This is the game that turns me into a Mike Shanahan hater.
 
What a brutal defensive response. Even worse coaching decision at this point by Mike. We punted to push the Bengals back 20 some odd yards and they simply march down the field at will.
