F-15 down in western Virginia

F-15C crashed late yesterday near Deerfield, VA. From the Massachusetts ANG. Pilot is missing.

Deerfield? Damn. That's in the middle of nowhere, rough mountainous area. I was out there for work 6 months ago and noted how remote it is. Hope they find him/her.

Sadly, the pilot was killed.

Two F-18s collided off the Carl Vinson and 2 pilot is missing. Not looking good if he's lost at sea.

I won't give up hope. Some have survive several days at sea after ejecting. However, it gets more unlikely after each hour with no rescue.
