I understand you here, KDawg. Id say im surprised, but Im really not. MM was, like many here, my first choice. Blough seems like a bright, young coach that clearly had interest from other teams without a doubt.

But damn do I feel like this was forced. And why? Cause Detroit was sniffing around? Feels like Campbell pulled wool over DQs eyes.

Alas, I'll hope Blough proved us wrong and works well with JD5. But simply feel like this was a settlement and not a win.

If I was guessing (and I am,) I'd say JD5s input carried some weight in this decision. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. As JD goes, so goes this team

I understand wanting to keep some form of stability for Daniels. But is this guy really ready to be an OC? Make or break year for Quinn. And a lot of it is going to fall on this move.

We've spent the last 20 years losing offensive coaching talent to other teams and been frustrated about it, im ok with doing what it takes to keep him in house and seeing if he's what we hope he is.
Remember when so many were hoping we could find a way to fire gruden and keep McVay around?
Well thats pretty much what we just did.
