I mean I said this awhile ago. He wasn’t planning on leaving unless he was going to be a head coach. It was networking.

With SF and GB having DC openings I’m not liking our chances for a good one atm. But we’ll see. We can get a decent one who can evolve…

A shame we couldn't pull Flores because it really feels like we need a home run DC addition and he was really the only one that would've fit that bill for me.

I feel like it was HC or Minnesota. I'm intrigued by Wilson, Tennessee fans I've seen don't want to let him go. Although I don't know a whole lot about them stylistically. Stupid work is making me work lately

Yeah, it was likely HC or Minnesota. Besides, after all the stuff Flores went through the full court press Minn. put on probably felt very good. The man probably wanted to feel wanted.

I was hacked.

Interest in Al Harris is concerning, although Keim did say he's not at the top of their list. I don't like bringing him into interview this late in the process.

This coaching cycle overall has been underwhelming--not just here.

Yeah, now I’m wondering if Harris’ agent is trying to drum up interest? I’m surprised we wouldn’t give him a courtesy interview with their history at least. But yeah, this report goes against Keim’s thoughts last week.

Why wouldn’t we have requested an interview with him earlier, bizarre.

I am not enamored with any part of our coaching cycle so far and Al Harris being interviewed this far into the process tells me two things:

1) They aren’t confident in their strategy
2) They haven’t loved any of the candidates and needed to at least talk to a few more
3) they were really hoping for Flores and him signing with Minn made them have to continue the search.

Consider me whelmed.

No thanks to Harris as DC. One of the great things about Coach Gibbs is he knew what people should be coaching what unit/position: Dale Lindsey as LB coach, not DC, for instance. I think Harris is better suited to staying away from calling a D.

Yeah. Same take. Makes it seem like none of their preferred candidates want to prioritize taking our job (Flores included obviously, but not just him necessarily).
