That's what I think, too. Besides, the good DC's are probably hoping for their HC shot before even considering another DC job.

Keim shut down the idea of Al Harris today on Twitter. Said we would’ve already interviewed him if he was an option, they don’t want him (maybe bc he’s a first-timer, but either way)

We currently have someone on staff like that. Lynn was an OC and HC and is now a position coach.
 
They will need a DC bc Halfley is likely a HC
 
I'd be very surprised if McDermott was fired, but stranger things have happened. I'd also be surprised if he went to be a coordinator as opposed to taking a year off
 
Probably but Stefanski also may try to convince Schwartz to come to Atlanta IF Schwartz can't get a gig as HC. Time will tell but Ulbrich is wanted as DC by the Falcon's ownership/management and that may be part of the negotiations.

Either Ulbrich or Schwartz comes available you’d think, at least. Both good options but idk if we’ll try to interview Schwartz. I’d hope so

Why wouldn’t he go for one of the remaining positions? I would think he might. Agree I don’t see him going for coordinator or needing to.

Jim Leonhard is a beast and turned down DC interviews last year. Longtime NFL safety, DC at Wisconsin and now Broncos AHC and PGC

Dallas is going hard after Leonard and Gannon. We have shown no interest at this time in Leonard. I think there is a wildcard that we don't know about for DC. We wait. I only hope we move away from Raheem Morris because right now with Ulbrich more than likely staying in Atlanta, Morris seems to be the favorite.

I think its less that Morris is the favorite and more that Morris may be the best we can get at this point.

He's a pretty solid DC.

That said, I'm not sure he's going to be an option for us, either. But fingers crossed we get someone of quality in the DC role.
