I take great joy that duke can't lay claim to the regular season or tournament title :D
 
Dream season... The last time we experienced this kind if season I was an undergrad there. Don't know if it's enough for a #1 seed but I think they've earned it.
 
Congrats to UVA for a stellar season, regular season ACC title and especially for beating the Dookies (the Dallas Cowboys of the ACC :biggrin-new:), to win the ACC tournament.

The team is playing really well and I think they are likely to be a tough out in the NCAAs for just about anybody.

I was glad they lost that one for that exact reason, although I really think this group of guys has 'team of destiny' written all over them. More work to be done Hoos!
 
A number one seed. A nice reward to cap the ACC championship. But Boone is right. Need to take this one game at a time.

Good job by uva to shift the momentum before half. They had coastal on their heels. 10 to1 run.

For awhile in the first half I wasn't sure CCU was going to miss a 3 pointer. Had that vibe where nothing was going right for UVA - they must have had 4 or 5 turnovers that they turned right back over to CCU. But came out strong and determined in the 2nd half and just imposed their will on them.

This is how the Hoos win. Just wear down the opposition and keep coming at them. Really hope to wear Hoo gear around the Memphis area on Monday.
 
That was overall a very sloppy performance. A lot of bad decisions especially in the first half which is not typical. A more experienced team might've knocked us off tonight. I give then credit for turning it around in the 2nd half. Hopefully we worked out the jitters and will play good ball for 2 half's on Sunday.
 
Just knocking off some rust for being off this week. No worries.
 
I was worried about this game even before it started, because of the possibility of a letdown coming off the ACC tournament win and especially after an epic win over Duke I'm glad they pulled it out. I didn't like Tony Bennett's comment about there being players 'bickering' at halftime though.
 
On the bright side

If you're going to have a sloppy performance best do in in the first round against a 16 seed :)

Hopefully the take away is to be ready next game
