The Commanders face two very tough opponents in Week's 3 & 4, teams in Buffalo and Philadelphia that are expected to be legitimate Super Bowl contenders. Following these 2 huge challenges, we will face the Bears at home, the Falcons at their place, and the Giants in New York - all seemingly winnable games.

So what is the Commander's record heading into Week 5?

I picked 2-2. Now, that being said, I know that under Rivera we have often stood toe to toe in our games against upper echelon teams, even winning a few. While we have seen a lot of good the first couple weeks, we have also seen a few shades of who we used to be in past years, particularly in that first half vs. Denver. The Cardinals and Broncos weren't clean wins by any means and it will take four quarters of consistency to take down Buffalo and Philly.

I picked 2 - 2. Realistically speaking I don't think anyone would be totally shocked if we won either of the next 2. I do think we'd all be shocked if we won both. I think we'd be 'less' surprised if we fell in both... simply judging expectations.

That said.. I hope I'm wrong :)

Let’s be optimistic, but a little cautious.

3-1

2-2

In reality I’m wondering if we’re quite ready for these two. I certainly think these games are going to tell us a lot about where we are. I think if we can compete, then I’ll be happy. If we look like a train wreck I’ll be concerned.
Of the two, I think mayyyyybe we can beat Buffalo.

3-1 I'm expecting the D to be at late game form from the first snap in one of the next two games. Hoping it's this week...
