Gibson apparently got some time today in practice as a kick returner. I guess there are one of two ways to look at this - 1. He is being demoted and unseated by Robinson. 2. They are thinking of more creative ways to use him to add some big play potential.

At the end of the day, Antonio is a weapon. You aren't going to slam him between the tackles 20 times a game and cause the most damage that way. Get him the ball in space however you see fit and go from there. He might be a player where less ultimately means more value.

I guess that is a step up from being a punt protector yesterday. 😉

Reminds me of something that Steve Smith said, broadcasting the Panther game...
One of our QB's threw a terrible ball, practically right into the hands of a Panther DB, and he drops it.
Smith goes, "That's why he playin DB, and not WR".
He added one more comment on that, that was funny and brutal, but I can't remember it
Something like, 'all the guys who can't catch, they try out at DB'
