Coaching staff thread

I'm looking forward to some deeper analysis of the B. Johnson hire ... I'm pretty sure Peters, Quinn, Kingsbury and Co. saw the Giants OL recent performance as well. Until I have reason to doubt all the other moves we've made over the past weeks, I'm putting this one in the "pending further review" category.
 
This hire is especially important because OL is perhaps the team's weakest position grouping top to bottom.

I see ONE starting player on this team (Cosmi) that is deserving of a second contract.

I see 2 or 3 veterans that need to be among the first few cuts.

And then there are guys like Chris Paul and Saahdiq Charles.

Paul was one of the lowest rated OL graded by PFF for the 2023 season, scoring a '37' for the games he started.

For PFF anything below 60 is a mark the player is questionable as an NFL player, let alone a starter.
 
A big move for Washington: Commanders are hiring 49ers assistant head coach Anthony Lynn as their run-game coordinator, per league source.

Commanders made a run at Lynn last year, but get him this year. Here’s one reason why: Lynn is close with HC Dan Quinn and GM Adam Peters.
 
RB Coach
DL Coach
Quality Control - both sides
Strength and Conditioning
Any position assistants Quinn and crew may want to bring in

I think that's about it.

EDITED: Still no official DL coach. We have an Asst there in Shariff Floyd and a Pass Rush Coach in Kerrigan, but not specific DL coach.

I wonder if Donatell counts as the young up and comer coach I was hoping for?
 
These defensive backs NEED a set of coaches that teach the fundamentals.

Did any team allow more chunk plays (over 20 yards) in the NFL last season? I think we were dead last and more than a bit of that was players blowing assignments.
 
So, anyone up for premature coaching staff grades? How'd we do?
 
So, the offense is shaping up to be an Air Raid/Zone Blocking combo.

The defense feels like it is trending toward Seattle Legion of Boom style.

Still scratching my head over Bobby Johnson but otherwise, I think I like it.
 
Kerrigan was signed to stay on as a coach, I believe
