Cleveland's offensive line which helps Cromwell that the Skins will probably have trouble with. Some of these are from Miami whose defensive line really isn't much better than Washington's.
For one thing the Browns use a lot of movement, sometimes 4 or 5 guys on a play. For another, they use some 1 WR sets quite a bit and everyone else is kinda scrunched in together. They pull guards and tackles but it seems mostly from the left side to the right.
above: Sometimes overloaded to the left, like here, and sometimes to the right. Should give Kessler good protection, there'll only be a limited number of receivers to look at should he pass WR and/or RB and TE. Plus he can and will run all of this besides Isaiah running the ball as he does here. Doesn't get a huge chunk of yards but 4 or 5 yards on 1st down is good. I don't know that the Redskins can handle this too well if Baker is on the bench.
below: 4 guys in the backfield - QB, RB, FB and TE. A lot of guys that can block or run the ball. 6 Offensive linemen, 4 in the backfield and 1 WR. Whoever has to cover that WR is pretty much taken out of the play because you can't just let him go in case there is a pass. The TE actually just chipped the DE but got enough of him to take him out of the play and then got to the Safety and the play got 'stuffed' for only a five yard gain.
This next one is real scary for Washington's line. I don't know how well they can defend against it.
The line is overloaded to the left but the TE is going to move to the right side before the snap overloading the right. The Ravens don't really move, LB 57 steps a little closer to the middle of the field is about it.
Sometimes they'll pull a Guard but in this case at the snap, both the LG and the LT pull to the right side and the TE is going to stay at home to block the OLB. Now almost all their linemen are on one side of the field where they easily punch a hole out through the 4 defenders on that side.
Cromwell got 133 yards and a TD running against Baltimore. The Ravens D line, much better than the Redskins. He didn't do quite as much against Miami but Johnson did.
