Clayton may not even make the Bucs roster and therefore it would be a waste to trade for him. My friend is a Bucs fan and I remember giving him such a hard time when they re-signed this guy to a long term deal, he was ticked. I remember reading this on rotoworld a while back:
ESPN's Pat Yasinskas speculates that only one of Michael Clayton and Maurice Stovall will make the Bucs' final roster.
Neither is making a legit run for a starting spot, and both appear to be behind Mike Williams, Sammie Stroughter, Rejus Benn, and Reggie Brown. Stovall's special teams experience would figure to give him an edge on the No. 5 spot. The Bucs can shed $3 million by dumping Clayton.
