Cerrato: Redskins Nearly Drafted McCoy

In the "I **** you not department", I happened to be digging around to see what else "our friend Vinny" was up to these days and found this reality-warping blog post by the "esteemed" Mr. Cerrato on the CBS Baltimore site from a week ago with the following title:

Take a deep breath;

"The Importance of Smarts"

Yeah.

Irony at that level should be illegal.

If you want a chuckle...or want to test your gag reflex, here's a link to the profundity of "Cerrato Wisdom" on "smarts in football players"-a topic in which Vinny is a renowned expert. :rolleyes2:

Amazing article. And I love the names, and comments below. What a clown! How is this guy on the radio?

I write more profound posts on here during lunch at work.

Dude is a whole new level of dumb.

i'd rather have an amish dude run the skins than vinny cerratto..... i hope i just spelled his name wrong. HTTR

no pressure no diamonds

What a maroon! :thumbsdown:

In retrospect all those debates about Cerrato's being an idiot that I had with Art (among others) back at ES seem kind of tragicomic now. Who knew we had 6 or 8 more years of lousy on-field product ahead of us. Oh well, at least we did get one more run with Gibbs. I guess that was something.

Those ES "debates" about Cerrato back in the day were a trip. I wrote volumes back then defending the proposition that, well, we could do better. Why volumes? Because some of our brethren were all in on Vinny.

You can't make this **** up. :)

Some of our brethren from those days smoke extra legal stuff in their spare time too. Just sayin'.

Just like some of our brethren are still all-in on Danny Smith. FIRE DANNY SMITH!

I may go back and try to find the one thread in particular where I can remember writing thousands of words trying to find a way to say "if we're really serious about getting better as an organization, why aren't we looking for someone better than Vinny Cerrato to GM this team?"

Wall, meet head.
