It's Saturday night, we're 15 hours from kickoff...

What has your attention?



Newb is still buying the beer ;)
 
It's a big ass weekend for Brother Om and I. He's visiting from Bavaria. Tons of beer, bourbon, golf, and of course the game tomorrow. We were talking - I'm not sure we've ever watched a live game on TV with each other. But this team is different. So we will be golfing in the morning and will watch the game together live on Sunday.

This is a game where we are clearly the better team. We should handle the Giants. Not necessarily crush them, but handle them.

We're coming off arguably the biggest most dramatic win in franchise history. It's a classic set up for a letdown game. Only I'm not sure this team has 'letdown' in them.

Tomorrow, we'll see if these guys can pass yet another test.

Can't wait.
 
Easy question—what’s different is Expectations.

A month ago, we went in to game days hoping our young quarterback would continue to show promise and the team with show signs of coming together under a new regime. Today, we are looking for our team to consolidate our division lead and position ourselves for a division championship. And oh, by the way, we are fully expecting to thoroughly throttle a division opponent on the road.

There is not a man or woman among us who honestly expected us to be anywhere within even viewing distance of where we are tonight.

God help me, I do love it so.
 
Actually have to work tomorrow. Covering a store to give one of my managers some much needed time off.

Currently playing some College Football 25 with VA Tech in the 2028 National Championship vs Penn State.


Oh, and watching Clemson vs Louisville

I guess the noob didn't find the thread.

I have tomorrow off though, just like the past 1100+ days, so I already started drinking while watching the Tennessee game in which their offense is as inept as the 2018-2023 Redskins.

I live in Tennessee now so I feel obligated but I'm just not believing in that QB.
