An interesting aspect of this is in light of the success teams have had running against the Eagles. It's been mostly up-the-middle where their ILBs are their main weakness. Strong ILB play is a key component of the Wide 9 defense they use due to the gaps created inside since the Wide 9 defense is designed to narrow the field and funnel play into the middle.

Oddly enough, this is where I think the old school flea flicker (the one where Theismann's leg was broken) would work very well, either on a first down after we've had success running up the gut, or a 2nd and 1 or 2.

If you're going to pull out all the stops, the Iggs would be a good place to do it.

The stats I cite say we are very good running in short yardage situations, which most of the time I would imagine would be more straight-ahead. In addition, we have a lot of success on the second level, so if we can get Timmah/Torain/Helu past the DLine, one on one with their ILB, we should have a pretty major advantage.

At least that's what the stats suggest.
