Burner's Burning Questions: The Mock Drafts, 2014 (Continual Updates)

Video of Breeland against FSU. Now, before watching this, realize that he was covering Rashad Greene for most of the game.

No one, I repeat no one....stops Rashad Greene. As a point of reference, Kelvin Benjamin had over 100 yards less in receiving yards last season, and he just went in the first round. Greene will likely go in the first next year.

But here is some video of Breeland in his worst game of the season. You can see some of his strengths and weaknesses.

And here's Breeland against lesser competition. This video really displays how quickly he gets down the field on STs, and also some blanket coverage.

And BB, Brandon Ivory sounds great.

A 6'4, 310 pound NT would be a welcomed addition.

He has both positives and some negatives. In my opinion, his biggest positive is how physical he is. He loves to play bump and run. There won't be any lining up ten yards off the line of scrimmage on third and five, like we saw so often when Gregg Williams was here. He likes to get right into the face and chest of opposing receivers. We haven't had enough of that.

His biggest weakness is that he loves to play bump and run. He likes to get right into the face and chest of opposing receivers. And the really good ones burn him.

A receiver like Desean Jackson would likely destroy him, because as you noted, he lacks a little of the make up speed if someone gets behind him. He also likes to grab jerseys and draws some flags for pass interference.

As Seattle proved last year, a flag or three for pass interference isn't that big of a deal, if the corner is physical and shutting down receivers most of the rest of the time.

They might be a bit more concerned with his on-field issues. They are working on cleaning up his hitting & holding; sometimes a bit over the line & not in full control. Did pull a targeting suspension for a half in one game. Nothing that can't be cleaned up.

Hope so - we don't want another Brandon Merriweather.
