I've been preaching ' dump McRib' for 2 years now. I agree it's time.

Whenever the McRib comes out, McDonald's ALWAYS gives the disclaimer that the McRib is available "for a limited time"
I guess they lied.

Well, you can like this team for 2015 or get ready to cover your eyes if you envision a trainwreck.

Two things give me some hope:

1. We are finally committed to starting a quarterback who grasps what he needs to do to be successful in the NFL. Cousins doesn't have to be Manning, if he can be a better version of Alex Smith or Carson Palmer (at age 33) he can help us win games Griffin simply can't at this point.

2. For a team with a 3-4 defensive alignment, we finally have a legitimate nose tackle to anchor the middle in Terrance Knighton. For years the team trotted out the undersized Barry Cofield and confidently talked about his athletic ability, however he failed to hold up over 16 games and couldn't take the beating inside at 300. Jason Hatcher was also miscast as an inside player in the 3-4. He has been a DT in a 4-3 for most of his career and is finally back to playing on the outside at DE.

I've also seen a different vibe (granted, on a limited basis in preseason) amongst the players. More aggressiveness, more fire and hustle, we are starting to add the right kinds of guys mentality and energy-wise. That is notable.

Hustle was the main positive I took away from the D. I still think we're in for a rough road due to the secondary. Gonna be tough to get to the QB with receivers running free. Mostly gonna have to be patient for talent influx.

Josh Chapman was let go in the Colts' final cuts.
He started 15 games at NT last year, and he's still young, and a corpulent 340 pounds.
Is there space for him as a backup here ?

Jarrett and Will Compton will get claimed IMO if they are placed on the practice squad.

On paper, it looks like a decent team. Possibly a 9-7 team.
