And that will do it for practice today. Camp practices will resume on Saturday. Game on Thursday.

I guess the report I heard last night on WMAL was wrong about Colt McCoy. They reported he had an ankle injury that would have him sidelined today.

Any word on why they'd report that if he is out there slinging passes?

They just held him out toward the end of practice yesterday. Media interpreted it as Colt being hurt. He is fine.

Jordan Reed was finally healthy last year but Smith and the other quarterbacks didn't throw him the ball.

What I don't like about Gruden's offense is no one seems to run it efficiently, at least according to Gruden.

Even Kirk had ‘mistakes' while throwing for 4,000 plus yards.

This is wrong. Jordan Reed was not healthy last year. He even said in an interview on NFL Radio's camp tour that he ran in pain all of last season and he couldn't cut like he wanted.

This year(so far) he's saying he's pain free and from camp reports, it shows.

You could tell Reed wasn't right last year. He looked slow and tentative coming out of cuts which is not his norm. Training camp reports are that he looks as sharp as he's ever looked. Fingers crossed.

Well, if a player is on the field you have to be able to use him in the scheme, otherwise he is strictly a stalking horse.

This team's other options aren't good enough where we can afford to have a guy suit up that can't walk.

What I saw at least early last season was Reed open over the middle and near the red zone while the ball was being thrown somewhere else.

When we finally did go to formations with Davis and Sprinkle on the field together they weren't thrown the ball enough either.

Hopefully, in 2019 we can create mismatches with Reed spread out wide to use his size and hands against an other team's corners.

We still need to find a hammer guy that can block for the run at the LOS and that is not Reed nor 35 year old Vernon Davis.

Sprinkle has to be the hope because there is no one else of note that was brought in to compete.
