Stroman is having a very good camp.

I'm not so sure on Apke but the rest of the secondary seems to have some playmaking ability otherwise.

It's a bit worrisome to hear how the D is camped out in the offensive backfield though. Unless of course the o-line is decent and our D is just that damn rabid. Callahan has his work cut out, especially with the backups.

I think the defense has a good possibility to surprise.

I think the talent on this roster is underestimated. We have the chance to be very, very good. We were the strength of the NFC East last season until injuries devastated us. A lot will depend on QB play. I want to see Gruden and company open it up. That's one of the reasons why I'd be okay with starting Haskins. Yeah - there would no doubt be growing pains, but he has abilities neither of the other two will ever have. That being said, I suspect Gruden will give the reins to Keenum and let Haskins sit and learn for awhile.

With the defense we'll field, and more offensive playmakers than we've had in a decade - this team will contend. How far they go will depend on QB play, the OL, and health.
