I know the need for a LT is always paramount, but what kind of value is there really for someone one drug test away from missing a full season who hasn't played a full season in several years?

He also doesn't have a guaranteed contract for next year, is breaking down and hasn't played a full season in several years and is one joint away from another suspension.

This is ALL about $$. The Redskins, for the reasons you guys have already outlined, won't and shouldn't bust the bank on a long-term extension for a guy at this point in his career - and that's my feeling regardless of whether he's currently the best LT in the league. I'm pretty disappointed that Williams is pulling this shit. I understand the counter arguments, but you signed a very lucrative contract with this team, a contract that is still in effect. No one made you sign it. You chose to sign it. And now you're stiffing the team that made you rich as well as fans and teammates because you've decided you 'deserve' more. I'm not going to say the other stuff, medical or otherwise, is a non-factor, because I have no way of knowing. But I strongly suspect this is and always has been about the $$.
I will not be one of the fans freaking the hell out and calling for Bruce Allen's head if we trade him.

The running storyline so far is that Smokey had a lump on his head, the team Doctor told him it was a cyst or some other such thing and he didn't think at first to get an outside opinion. Why? No clue. I don't think the FO exactly keep Oncologists on-staff. RUMINT was that it had precancerous cells (not nearly as scary as it sounds) and he had it removed, thinking the team did him dirty.

The Patriots May want to trade for Trent Williams but Belichick is not known for giving away the farm in deals.
No way he gives the Redskins multiple first rounders.
My guess is he offers a #2 pick and then bumps it up to one #1 pick.

I hope Bruce isn't dealing with the Patriots, they ALWAYS win on trades and would take Bruce to the woodshed. They wouldn't pay Trent either.
Not sure what the skins should ask for in trade but unless there's a 1st and 3rd involved I'd let him sit. It's strange though, 1 minute Moses and Kerrigan are speaking as if he's coming back, then this tweet pops up and multiple teams are allegedly contacting us bidding.
At this point in the day I would tell his agent to find a juicy deal that benefits the skins or Trent's ass gets fined for every day he's missed.
Edit: Just noticed that the pats only have $7.5M in cap space so I can't see this being a viable option honestly.
