Re: Burner's Burning Questions: Free Agency, Mocks, Camps, OTAs, Roster Predictions,

I need to do a much better job with the off-season blog each year. I'll need to analyze what is going on and make substantial improvements. Any suggestions are welcomed at any time of the year.
The views for this blog are going to fall about 40,000 shy of last year's total. Total likes are about 340 shy of last year. The "Thanks" are much higher than last year. Strange.

New England allowed Nate Solder to move on when NY offered outrageous money and they were able to plug and play with Trent Brown on the way to the Super Bowl at LT.
Denver didn't have an elite LT in 2015.
Philly has Jason Peters but at 37 he has missed a LOT of time on the field during crucial runs to the playoffs.
My point here is the Redskins and fans can point to Trent Williams' absence and use that as a crutch in 2019 but in this age of parity the loss of one player unless a generational quarterback is rarely fatal.
Things would be helped a bit if we had a TE who can block.
We are now working on Year 3 with these TEs with the glaring weakness at the line of scrimmage unaddressed.
I always thought the way to prolong Reed's career was to use him on the outside and slot as a WR and take one WR slot away to sign a capable two way blocking end to play on the line.
