NFL Draft Countdown Brian Lamb 2027 NFL Mock Draft 2.0

The 2026 College Football season is underway, and teams in the NFL have cut down to their 53-man rosters. This means that we are closer than ever to the start of the 2026 NFL season. So it’s time to release my latest mock draft: Brian Lamb 2027 NFL Mock Draft 2.0. Below, I’ve included analysis for the top ten teams. The draft order has been picked by Pro Football Focus.

1. Arizona Cardinals​

Colin Simmons, EDGE, Texas​

While you could look at QB as a need here, I think they’ll give 3rd-round pick Carson Beck a bit of a leash to work things out once he’s named the starter. Zaven Collins and Baron Browning are both in the final year of their contracts, so this would make sense for the front office.

2. Miami Dolphins​

Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State​

Jalen Tolbert signed with Miami this offseason as an unrestricted free agent, but did so on a one-year deal. The front office will need to continue to rebuild this offense, which should start with a stud wide receiver in Jeremiah Smith. Smith might be the best player in all of college football this season, which QB Malik Willis desperately needs.

3. New York Jets​

Dante Moore, QB, Oregon​

I’ve got Dante Moore as the first quarterback off the board in the 2027 NFL Draft. Quite frankly, at this point, you could pull a name out of a hat and have just as much of a shot at picking the correct quarterback. Regardless, Dante Moore is athletic, throws the ball really well, and should keep Oregon in contention for a National Championship all season.

4. Las Vegas Raiders​

Duce Robinson, WR, Florida State​

I don’t know if there’s a more athletic receiver in this draft class that’s taller than six feet. He’s an outside receiver that punishes cornerbacks. He can work inside and possesses a wide catch radius. If the Seminoles are back in contention this season, it’ll be because of Duce Robinson at wide receiver.

5. Cleveland Browns​

Leonard Moore, CB, Notre Dame​

I think it’s fair to say that it’s unlikely that Deshaun Watson will be the long-term starter at quarterback for the Browns. At some point, they will turn to Shedeur Sanders for the 2026 season. Instead of adding to the QB confusion that the Browns have put themselves in, let’s upgrade their secondary with a starter at corner.

6. Tennessee Titans​

Carter Smith, OT, Indiana​

It’s year two for Cam Ward, which means that it’s prove-it time. The Titans have one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL on paper. Whether Ward proves himself or not, the offensive line should be the play here in the Brian Lamb 2027 NFL Mock Draft.

7. Carolina Panthers​

Matayo Uiagalelei, EDGE, Oregon​

The Panthers have exercised the fifth-year option for Bryce Young, so there are several directions they could go here. Ultimately, they have several expiring contracts on the defensive front, which they’ll need to address this offseason.

8. New York Giants​

David Stone, DL, Oklahoma​

When John Harbaugh was the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens, the team was so good at being able to find talented prospects throughout the draft board. We’re going to find out over the next several seasons whether it was Harbaugh or the Ravens front office that was responsible for their success. With that being said, the franchise lacks depth on the defensive line, which I addressed here.

9. Atlanta Falcons​

Julian Sayin, QB, Ohio State​

Tua Tagovailoa is on a one-year prove-it deal for the Falcons. They could still lean towards Michael Penix Jr, but with only one QB off the draft board at this point, why wouldn’t they seriously consider a capable franchise QB?

10. New Orleans Saints​

Dylan Stewart, EDGE, South Carolina​

Similar to the Cardinals situation with Carson Beck, I think the Saints give QB Tyler Shough time to prove if he’s the QB of the future or not. They invested a second-round pick on him, so I think he gets more than just this season if things don’t turn out great for the franchise. Therefore, let’s take the best available player on defense.
