Breaking Bad

Boone- What do you mean by first couple? Two? Three to four? If you really want to give it one last go, try to get through five episodes. Although I understand Mike's suggestion to jump to season two, which really is completely different, I think you'd miss out on some pretty important foundations. The development of the Barksdale crew, the introduction of Omar and Bubbles, the genesis of the wire taps, and the fleshing out of the police department. All of those wind through the entire series and are paramount to the story.

Personally, I was hooked with the very first scene, between McNulty and the guy talking about the murder of "Snot-boogy." One of my favorite scenes of all time:

Yeah, agreed, pretty solid start for me, too.

Pretty neat that Dominic West, who plays McNulty, speaks with a pretty thick Irish accent in real life, as does Idris Elba, Stringer Bell, only with an English accent.

There are some behind-the-scenes type documentaries that are really good. In one of them, West says it took him forever to get the pronunciation of "snot-boogy" correct, lol.

Are you ****ing kidding me? I've been begging you for years to give it another shot, and Chris comes along and says it's good, so you'll try it?

Sheesh.

Hey Chris? Go ahead and tell him Justified is worth watching too, will ya? :)

He doesn't listen to me either, Goaldy. :) It must be the fruity beer in your case.

Yeah, that's not bad. Think of the coolest bad ass you can think of, and Raylon is pretty much 10x cooler.

But, imo, it's the supporting cast that makes the show. Walton Goggins, Nick Searcy, Margo Martindale (while she was there) and the rest just make it a killer show with great action, but a nice slow burn developing the plot.

I love, love, love Goggins as Boyd Crowder and Jere Burns as Wynn Duffy.

Mike O'Malley, from Yes Dear, is pretty great as Nicky Augustine, too.

Yes, he was ;)

And Jere Burns and the Wynn-abego is pretty great, agreed.

So...did Walt, a.k.a. Heisenberg, die?

EDIT: Just realized, the spoiler is revealed in the preview bar on the right-hand side of the forums screen. LOL.
