Welcome to the BGO Mock Draft.

Wanted to do something a little different and give everyone a VOTE! I will include a handful prospects that I've found could be around when we pick and let YOU all have a voice. I will include a highlight package from each prospect (when available) and a link to TheDraftNetwork.com and their evaluation of each player.
The order of highlights posted do not reflect my personal order of preference, it's totally random. These are also not all of my top picks, they are the common names I've seen linked to us at our pick.

I will post all the results in a sticky thread at the top of the board.

Voting for each round will be open for 3 days and then it will be LOCKED so get your vote in.

When the poll ends for a round I will post the same format for the next round as the previous pick could influence who you take next.

Let's try to keep it honest and not write in Trevor Lawrence at 19 because he wont be there.

Ties will be broken via another poll that will get merged into the existing thread once the vote is complete. Tiebreaker vote will be open for 24 hours.

For the sake of this exercise let's avoid trades because there are WAY too many possibilities there.

I will also include an 'other' vote and you can write in your choice!

Players selected are a compilation using a few different places, a lot of info coming from nflmockdraftdatabase.com that compiles a ton of big boards and mock drafts to come up with their projections.

Round 2 - Pick 19 - 51st overall

Elijah Moore - WR - Ole Miss - 5'9" - 184lb

Another x-factor type. Good route runner, explosive speed and vision. Size again a question.

Elijah Moore - Bio

Andre Cisco - S - Syracuse - 6'0" - 203lb

Ball hawking rangy FS type. Has a tendency to roam a little bit. Coming off an injury.

Andre Cisco - Bio

Chazz Surratt - LB - UNC - 6'1.5" - 227lbs

Former QB that moved to LB in college. Scheme fit for 4-3 OLB.

Chazz Surratt - Bio

Amon-Ra St. Brown - WR - USC - 6'1" - 195lb

Played a lot in the slot, great body control and toughness.

Amon-Ra St. Brown - Bio

Eric Stokes - CB - Georgia - 6'1" - 185lbs

CAN play Press but better suited for Zone coverage. Does not have elite speed but can make up for it with vision and ball skills.

Eric Stokes - Bio

I'm digging Chazz but I wonder what his top speed is, seems good vision could he be moved to FS? I'm asking since I know little about college football on a big scale which is pretty much anyone not highlighted on the sports websites.

IMHO he would be better suited to add 5-10 NFL pounds and be an OLB. He's got down hill aggression and I think he is REALLY good around the line of scrimmage. I wish I could see more of his coverage skills and how he matches up man to man with TEs and RBs down field.

I’d take that Syracuse FS without hesitation

All these guys look good in their highlight films. I picked the LB because I liked his ability to tackle. I also liked that he adjusted from being a QB to a an LB. He probably has much better instincts for the game than he will get credit for based on his past experience as a QB.

I like Cisco here pairing him up with Kamren Curl and resigning Darby could fortify the backend of defense

Surratt getting a lot of love here!

Living in Chapel Hill, I've seen a lot of Surratt and think he's the real deal. Not only is it impressive he switched from QB to LB, but that was after his sophomore year. So, he's only been playing LB for two years. Makes you wonder what he'll do with more coaching.

If I was going defense in the 2nd round, I'd take him here in a heart beat. Debating if this would be a good place to take a WR.

FULL DISCLOSURE....

I have my heart set on Jabril Cox in the 3rd round which is why I opted for a LB here. I don't think the WR depth is there in the 3rd like it is in the 2nd...

but dont let me sway you ;)

and of course for this exercise, if ultimately Surratt is the pick, it's unlikely I vote for Cox in the 3rd
