Thing is we dont know how much of it JD has actually grasped at this point. He has looked like a rookie QB the past few weeks. Not sure putting more on his shoulders would help his development.

He's looked like a rookie for the last 3 weeks. But I think it's partly because of the injury and the OLine today was not good

OL talent not there yet. DL missing big time pass rushers. Jayden working through rookie challenges. No legit WRs beyond McLaurin, banged up starting RB, one really good DB, and lots of penalties and mental mistakes.

cutting out the 1st and 2nd down rushing every set of downs would be welcomed

Yeah pretty sure he is for JD but JD handles it when he needs to. It's time to open the book up more. I know they may not be able to with some slow developing plays due to the current OL but open the field up man
