That corn is tricky. It sways in the wind. You have to have a very steady hand and good anticipation. Also a smaller target than a deer. I don’t blame you for not shooting any corn.

We have one really good barbecue place here in Miami and their cornbread is to die for. It is drenched in butter and honey.

We do have a official game thread each week, but that is just for general information and discussion. During the games, many of us log into our chat software and discuss the game LIVE with continuous chat. You can participate in Game Day Chats no matter how you are viewing the site. On a pc or laptop, you'll see the chat bar at the bottom of the screen. All you have to do is click on the chat bar and you'll see the various chat rooms. Game Day chat is in the Northwest Stadium chatroom. Click on the 'Join' button and you're in. On a phone, you may not see the chatbar but if you scroll down you will find an 'Enable Chat' button. Click on it and you'll see the functionality.

Once you are using the chat software there are some features (like changing your font color) that you'll have to figure out. But generally it is pretty intuitive.

Come join us - it's a ton of fun.

There a lot of bow hunting for deer going on over in Virginia? Also a bow hunter (elk & deer mainly). But now Im hungry for Venison thanks to your post.

It's actually muzzleloading season here now, in Va. bow season runs the month of October. The deer population in Va is out of control, they are moving from the classification of "game" and should soon instead listed as "nuisance." But until we re-introduce the wolf statewide, the only control is hunters and BMWs lol.

I'll gladly have a venison for Elk meat exchange if you're interested. Interestingly enough, the reintroduced Elk population is thriving on the reclaimed strip mining parts of Southwest Va. To the point where it is now legal to Elk hunt statewide (with exception of the reclaimed lands and bordering counties, which is a reserve.) Years ago, I was a member of RMEF and glad to see the population bouncing back.

For knowing, the chat bar at the bottom disappeared for me for a bit, and then came back. I was scouring for it, and it just wasn't there. And I'm on a laptop. Not entirely sure what was going on, but it seems to be back to normal.

But if you have problems, use the link Boone put in above. I used that initially and it worked....
