BGO Fantasy Football League

I know we're only three weeks in, but the WheresRickySanders?'s could just be for real. Anquan Boldin went OFF this week, and Darren McFadden continues to make me forget Ryan Grant was even on my roster.

Over 135 points already, with Jermichael Finley still to play tomorrow night. Nice. :)

(Trust me, behind all the bragging is a guy waiting for it allllll to come crashing down.)

Well, Jennings and Forte certainly are going to make it interesting tonight. Hopefully Jennings finds the endzone, damnit.

In two other leagues I'm getting spanked, but still have Jennings, Rodgers and Forte left to play. Need huge games from all 3, please. :)

26 from Rodgers, 12 from Jennings, and 8 from Forte. Would that do it? Cause that's my prediction. :)

Could I please be matched up with someone who's not going to have a career week one of these days? I've got 96 points, still have Aaron Rodgers to play, and am still going to lose this week.

Yeah, I think we are playing next week (maybe, anyway). You'll be fine.

I've found that life, fantasy football, and being a Skins fan are inherently unfair experiences.

Sorry, dude. Didn't plan it that way.

Oh wait....actually, I did.

I just need Aaron Rodgers to do it 3 or 4 more times (without including Donald Driver in the fun) and you're mine :)

Good luck to me on that.

I'm OK this week anyway, but feel free to have your boy hit Finley a few dozen times. :)

Nice job LSF. I thought I might have a chance at pulling it off there.
Oh.
So.
Close.

I've advised my team that they have exactly 24-hours to relish their juggernautical awesomeness, before setting their sights on our next opponent.

Darren "Dead Last" McFadden is easily the best final pick I have ever made in a fantasy draft. Let's all just pretend I saw this coming, mmkay?

Hey hey hey, 4-1 this week. Getting a little better at this prediction thing!

Yeah ... we might have believed you if you hadn't also mocked my pick of Culter in the 10th. His production so far is tied with Rodgers and Brady, and ahead of Brees. :)

Who would have figured that?

Oh yeah. You.

My comment was about the league taking off points for INTs. Not exactly unwarranted when dude threw 26 last year. Good call though on your part.

Lanky's Weekly Re-cap from LLSN

High score of the week: WheresRickySanders? 152.82

Low score of the week: dwarves of Moria 63.20

Upsets: 2

The Fat Alberts 92.8 vs. Shanahanigans 109.08
(Lanky Livingston vs. Misterpinstripe)

So we here at LLSN were a little better with our predictions this week, which unfortunately meant that we correctly predicted our own downfall. What I would have never expected was for the Jets offense to wake up against the stout Miami defense! The DST gave the Alberts 1 measley point! That, coupled with an even worse day from Shiancoe and slow days from Andre Johnson and Matt Forte, spelled the end of the Fatties 2 game winning streak. Adrian Peterson said "what defense?" as he ran circles around the Lions, leading the way for the Shanahanigans.

----
Om Buds Man 85.34 vs. Chester Shooters 71.84
(Om vs. Goaldeje)

2-0 for LLSN so far! In a game full of Timex watches, Chris Johnson was a diamond-encrusted, 24 karat gold Rolex. At least doubling every other score except Mike Turner, Johnson led the Om Buds Men to victory over the Shooters, in a low-scoring affair. The Shooters now must look to regroup after almost having the low-score of the week for the second game in a row. Is there a big trade on the horizon?

newb-annihilation 121.24 vs. LSF 128.50
(Boone vs. Loyal Skins Fan)

The newbs are that team that is actually pretty decent, and puts up a lot of points, but just runs into a higher scoring opponent from week-to-week. The technical term for this in FF circles is $&#@%^&@*! syndrome. Don't worry Boone, FF players across the country share your pain - you are not alone. We here at LLSN also suffered a bit, as your loss cost us a perfect week in predicting the games. Austin Collie went bananas, Cedric Benson had a big day, and Breesus was Breestastic in LSF's win over the annihilators. Felix Jones was disappointing (hmm, curious), combined with a low-scoring day from DeAngelo Williams caused n-a to fall just short.

Next: newb-annihilation vs. The Fat Alberts, LSF vs. Absurd Philosophy

Absurd Philosophy 93.14 vs. WheresRickySanders? 152.82
(Sisyphus vs. honorary_hog)

Turns out this NASCAR-spewing, funny guy from West-Virginny knows a little something about fantasy football as well. For the second week in a row, WRS? rolled their opponent with ease as the top score for the week. This week's victim was Absurd Philosophy, who suffered a nearly 60-point beatdown. That's what happens when all but one of your players scores in double-digits, and all but two of those score more than 15 points. The Steelers' defense continues to put more points on the board than most of the Redskins' offense, Darren McFadden's coming out party continues, and Anquan Boldin went all Larry Fitzgerald on the Browns. Will WRS? continue to put up numbers like this from week to week? We shall see, but for now hog is enjoying the ride. In a drastic turn of events, Jahvid Best went from a hog-wild touchdown party last week to scoring some dreaded turf-toe, leaving the Philosophizers struggling to find a replacement.

Next: Absurd Philosophy vs. LSF, WheresRickySanders? vs. beamish

----
beamish 100.64 vs. dwarves of Moria 63.20
(Sisyphus vs. beamish)

In the 4th-game correctly predicted by LLSN (not to toot our own horn, or anything like that) the headless dragon beamish bested dwarves of Moria by almost a 40-spot, the second largest margin of victory for the week. The dwarves' fans must be scratching their heads as to why they would leave Reggie Bush in the game, when he is possibly done for the year. I guess doM thought they got points for scoring with a Kardashian also. Bresus continues to look elsewhere than Colston, and the guy throwing Larry Fitz the ball still sucks, as doM's squad fell to 0-3.
