I see Joe Whitt Jr.'s defense evolving. Part of it is Payne is playing much better the past 2 games. He is collapsing the pocket and that is giving Fowler Jr. and Luvu the chance to come in and make plays.

We need to see that against the Bears.

Unlike Jonathan Allen who seems to have slowed down due to injuries I think Payne is still healthy and capable of bringing his performance up a couple of notches, perhaps not up to where it was in his contract year but enough so that he becomes a primary disruptor for us.
