I love that you guys still believe that the playoffs are not out of the question. I desperately need some of whatever you’re drinking.

As far as the coulda, woulda, shoulda about the injury situation… both KC & GB were in a similar, if not worse, situation than the WFT was. I will not even mention Baltimore. Whoops. 😉

Bemoaning injuries and officiating is generally the milieu of the losing side. And we are all, unfortunately, residents at that address.

In regards to the question if the WFT scandal makes any noise outside of the Beltway, other than blurbs from ESPN tv or online, it's non existent. Over the past year almost zero of my friends or colleagues who follow the NFL have made even the slightest mention. Now it could be because it's a team that has been mostly a garbage fire for over 25 years that it just doesn't have national attention. Then again this is FL and all the attention football wise has been about TB, Trevor Lawrence on top of that with the Bolts winning back to back cups and the Rays making the playoffs there's not many ears open to listen about the WFT. Their seemed to be a much larger contingent of fans here but over the years either due to mediocrity or transient nature of the state not a lot of WFT/Redskins gear out in the open like it used to. As far as Mark Davis goes, I think as one of you stated, "sour grapes" your boy got caught up in the mess.

That’s actually not accurate SO. I have seen stories about the ‘scandal’ from almost every major news outlet and some national TV programs.

Whether the average Joe outside of our market is paying attention or not is a separate question.

Only thing about the Denver game is it's a game I feel we "should" win. That feeling has not served me well over the years. Gibson's fumbling is worrisome, some of it could be possibly attributed to playing on a fractured shin (that cannot be pleasant) but he does have a tendency to hang the ball out a bit as he goes to the ground. Nice job gents, not sure I can get on the "still make the playoffs" pitch yet, then again I did have the WFT getting the last wild card in the crystal ball.

When you guys are talking about Scott Turner and are in the same place I am at in regard to: Running the ball well, you're at 3rd and 2 in two down territory and you come out in empty set on both downs and wonder why?

I think the phrase you should be looking for is "Lack of situational awareness".
