On this week's episode, the guys revel in the topsy-turvy thrills of the Commander's roller coaster win against the Jags, and try to keep it real regarding a win that instilled both serious hope, and more than a little fear at times. This week the Commanders go up against a team in Detroit that won just 3 games in 2021, but who put up an impressive fight and almost pulled it out against the Eagles in their opener. The consensus feeling is one of cautious optimism but certainly not overwhelming confidence. Because Commanders.

I hate to somewhat, almost, consider, pontificating and predicting the same as CH but I gotta bad feeling about this one. Neo said it best paraphrasing "we need to win the games we should win" and historically we tend to play down to our opponents, I can never forget we're the team that broke the Lions losing streak years ago and I flew into Detroit (flight and game tickets were dirt cheap) only to watch one of the worst run franchises in history win. Call me jaded from that event but this smells like overconfident trap game to me. Albeit I will still be picking the Commanders in pick em to spite my own thoughts.

Del Rio putting a little public pressure on Jamin Davis before the Lions game…

Listened to it and enjoyed it.

Keep doing what you are doing guys!

Thanks DP! Not easy to stay enthused these days…

Props to Canadian Hog for correctly predicting implosion. You nailed it Paul.

Not the kind of thing any of us want to be right about, John.

I have loved this team like a child and would have been thrilled if on the next pod I had to talk about how they made me look like a fool this past Sunday.

It is strange - the last couple years, I have been able to shake off defeats relatively easily. Yesterday still stings and angers me. A very demoralizing loss for whatever reason.

Made me irritable all day today. Guess I'm not as apathetic as I thought...though I'm getting there.

But you want to know what kind of broke the bad mood today? I got to talk to Kurt Gouveia today! Made my day! :)
