The boys, short a couple starters, jump into the latest Dan Snyder.... stuff... then take a look back, before taking a look ahead..

Great job, guys!

I feel better about Sunday now, knowing that Mark picked us to win :)

I will say this - I personally wasn't a fan of Rivera somewhat downplaying the importance of Sunday. He basically said it is an important game because it is the one in front of them at the moment. Who is he kidding? This is the most gigantic game in his tenure in Washington. In some ways, I believe as though it could determine his future here. You drop this game, then I feel as though it seriously brings into question his ability to lead this team into the future. The players need to know what is at stake on Sunday and play like everything depends on it, whether that puts more pressure on them or not.

Look at the playoff picture - you have two teams in New York and Seattle that are both headed in the wrong direction. A playoff spot is there for the taking - we have to assert ourselves Sunday. If we squander this, it is a failure on all levels.

I hear you, CH. Mostly I think Rivera is just coachsplaining ... he knows how big this one is, he's just not going to put that out there publicly. Inside the locker room though I'm confident he's making it abundantly clear his boot is going up any asses that don't plan to leave it all on the field.

I'll say it again ... this is a playoff game Sunday night.

If we weren't playing at night, I'd have a better feeling about this game, even still I believe we win but it'll be ugly.

The good news SO?

All their wins are ugly!

Washington is 6-2 with Rivera in prime time. I think we can start letting go of the idea that we're at a deficit under the lights

2020 - Week 13 - W @ Pittsburgh - 23-17
2020 - Week 17 - W @ Philly to win the division (though they threw the game when they put in Sudfeld in the 4th quarter)
2020 - WC - L @ vs Tampa Bay - 31-23
2021 - Week 2 - W vs NYG - 30-29 - The game we got bailed out on the offsides so D. Hopkins got a 2nd attempt at the FG with :00 on the clock
2021 - Week 12 - W vs Seattle - 17-15
2021 - Week 16 - L vs Dallas - 56-14
2022 - Week 6 - W @ Chicago - 12-7
2022 - Week 10 - W @ Philly - 32-21

3-1 vs Division in prime time
2-0 vs Undefeated teams in prime time
6-1 in Reg season in prime time
2-1 @ home in prime time (reg season)

The other thing to keep in mind, and I'm sure we'll hear about this on the pregame

It sure looks like SF will be playing to keep the #2 seed next weekend.

The Giants gave up 48 to the Eagles last week including 253 rushing yards, and 4 rushing TDs.

Now they've elevated Landon Collins. Expect to see a lot of him in the box tomorrow night.
