On this week's episode, the guys rehash the record-setting home loss against the Giants, make dire and not-quite-as-dire predictions about Thursday's result against dreaded Dallas, and share remembrances of the great Sean Taylor as we approach the anniversary of his tragic passing.

Kudo's to Canadian Hog for reminding us what happened 7 November, 2007 ... such an awful day but important to remember the young man.

Just finished watching the Pod and I agree with Derek when he describes tonight's episode as therapeutic.

Also agree that nothing has changed in regards to Sam Howell. IMO, he's the man until he shows he isn't. I look for a solid effort at the minimum from him on Thanksgiving even though I feel like he's going into a gun fight with a hatchet.

BTW, you guys briefly mentioned the black uniforms and our horrid record in them. Saw on Twitter where I believe someone affiliated with the team referred to them as the Battle Blacks. Made me chuckle. Thought it might make you guys too.

I also side with Boone on this game with the Cowboys. NFC East rivalry game...a lot of weird stuff usually happens. This game will be a lot closer than folks think.
Especially if they find the Stick Um !

Happy Thanksgiving fellas and to everyone at BGO! See y'all in the game chat.

I think this echoes what we've all speculated to this point. It is interesting that Rapoport doubles down that it was 'the plan coming into the season' and that he's basically unsure if it could change after a bad loss today if it goes that way.

I hope to never see those black uniforms again, especially on national tv today. We could start an anti- Black Uniforms Matter riot and I would lead the March. Let’s stick to burgundy and gold.

No Battle Black is more representative.

Kind of a weird report there if you ask me. I initially thought 'the Harris group asked him to communicate this to quell fan expectations that Rivera or others will be fired in season. But then he says he doesn't know if the most recent losses, coupled with a big loss today, would change things. Sounds like he's had conversations about their plan for Rivera this season, but not recent ones (or the Harris group is keeping their options open and won't comment currently.

Bottom line, we'll see soon enough. And as I said snarkily on Twitter, the best thing right now if the Harris group is looking for a higher draft pick might be to let Rivera keep doing his thing :)

There is absolutely no point in firing Rivera now outside of offering a sacrifice to disgruntled fans. I seriously doubt that Harris will be so reactionary and short-sighted.

The future is all about the long game.

The fact that firing Rivera in season is exactly what Dan Snyder would've done is the most likely reason it won't happen this year, you are right Chris.

Yeah I don't see a reason to do it anymore, other than the fact that you might just want to send a message to the players that the product on the field is unacceptable, but even that is a reach. I think that door has closed, if it was going to happen, it 'should' have been after the first loss to the Giants, while the season was still in question.
