Nah. Just getting a kick out of how invested we all still are in this minutiae of this thing. 🥃

I’m invested and it honestly brings a tear to my eye that my other dear friends are too.

Im kind of with Bob… the formula we showed against Philly beats a lot of teams. Run it down their fucking throats! The rest will follow.

Me, I would like us to do whatever is working on a particular day. And regardless of whether we are run heavy or more pass heavy, I would dearly love to see us actually score some touchdowns.

So my suggestion to Scott Turner is “call plays that result in touchdowns you moron.”
These are my feelings as well. Running the ball is working. Keep going at it and dominating the other team. But if it isn't working, do something else. I want to see more than 2 offensive TDs in a game. How about 3 or 4 this week? It's been 2 TDs or less every week since week 2. I remember how excited we all were for 4 passing TDs in week 1. I don't think any of us realized we would only be scoring half that in 8 straight games.

Despite having Dak and a corps of talented receivers, Dallas has won largely due to the career season Tony Pollard is having on the ground and as a receiving threat out of the backfield.

The New York Giants I would add are winning games in spite of Daniel Jones. When Saquon Barkley is effective they win, when he is not as was the case yesterday they lose to the Lions.

There are a greater number of good running backs out there than franchise quarterbacks.

Well they also got Elliott back yesterday who himself had a pretty good game (47 yds and 2 TDs). Pollard and Elliott is a pretty scary combo.

Hurts had 16 carries yesterday for the Eagles. Lamar Jackson does that weekly in Baltimore.

The running game with the variations to now include the quarterback as a major contributor IS the new innovation in the league.

The pocket quarterback throwing the ball 40 times a game is now the anachronism.

Joe Gibbs might have been able to get more out of Carson Wentz with the offenses the way they were built in the 1980's and 1990's.

But in today's game Wentz is a dinosaur.

His game is the same now as the 45 year old Brady, just without the same accuracy and durability.

My weekly reminder that the NYG will end the season in last place in the NFCE.

The Giants have the hardest schedule to finish the season in the league.

They have challenges in the passing game with a turnover prone qb when he gets to throw the ball.

If Barkley is not donning his Superman cape NY doesn’t have enough at qb or defense to win games.

With 2 shots at the Giants, if we can stay healthy I like our chances to move past them in the NFC East standings.

Big man doesn't have to yell but I'm guessing every guy in the locker room heard that. Nice.

Does sloppy include not being able to get plays in on time and having to burn timeouts to avoid delay of game penalties? Asking for a friend :)

Love the mindset - coaches need to hear that message too.

on an extra point no less...

Thats the stuff that keeps us somewhat grounded with expectations... That offense left at least 7 points (we know it because Gibson took a knee) on the field... A better throw to Logan Thomas on the corner route, there's 7 more.

Just as easily, Houston dropped 2 INTs in the first half. Dynamically different situations could have happened.

I love Jon Allen. He's the best thing to happen to this team regarding leadership since London Fletcher (and you could argue better because he's home grown).

Leadership is the intangible that makes Allen and McLaurin more valuable and the fact both are signed long-term is a good sign for the team moving forward.
