BGO Blind Pig: Week 1 vs. New York Giants Preview

Great pod guys. We will put up points. But the outcome will be dependent on getting pressure on Wilson. Secondary is going to be better but putting a ton of pressure on him is the key.
 
I'd be lying if I said my sphincter won't be so tight a piece of coal would turn into a diamond in there during this game. As alluded to and stated during the pod, the Giants have been that team that keeps it close or breaks us as ST said with just 3 big plays. I think we will look rusty on offense having not had the main squad together for much at all this off season. Yes JD remembers how to pass and Terry how to catch but route timing is exceedingly important especially against a Gmen team that seems stout up front. If we can get some space in the run game that will help slow them down but can we? I think we need a big game from our back defensive 7 in order to win, I'm not sure we will generate enough pressure with the front four to cause chaos but hopefully disruptive enough to keep Wilson off target enough for the LB's/DB's in keeping big pass plays from eating us up. On offense, point, points, points we need more than 30 and I'm picking us barely at 33-30. If we lose I gotta hear shit from Mrs. SO until the rematch in December. Now to Pips point, I also wouldn't be surprised if we came out flat for the first two weeks I just prefer that not to be the case, fan logic at best there lol.
