After a busy news week, the guys talk Commanders Free Agents, Team Cuts, Jamin Davis, NFLPA Team Grades, and the soon to be announced Cool Ranch Doritos Stadium deal. Thank you Charles Leno Jr., Nick Gates, and Logan Thomas for your service and best of luck in your future!

Just a side note... Chris had a really great post this year about how hard we often are on NFL players and that our commentary can be extremely harsh at times considering players are human beings that we will never personally know. I sort of drifted into that on the pod tonight - so not that Logan Thomas will ever hear it, but my comments were harsh and unkind. He's been a tough player who has taken a lot of punishment on our behalf to try and win games. He has had some amazing games and while I don't care for some of his off-the-field commentary, that doesn't diminish his contributions and it's no reason to torch the guy on his way out.

My apologies folks.

One off-season isn't going to fix this roster, after I believe it was ST breaking down were really looking at closer to 20 players to fill the roster at this moment minus any further cuts, we really gotta hit on this draft big time. Chris, you made me snort about the horse, well done sir.

My favorite classic emoji, but I think Chris was channeling, "it's only mostly dead"

And when I win the next big PowerBall, first for the record I can't win on a scratch off but the stadium rights will be Joe Gibbs stadium at Redskins park. One can dream right

I don’t think you did, John. I have always had a sneaking suspicion that Gibson was also one of the players that complained to Rivera about Bieniemy but I never voiced it because I just didn’t know for sure.

Just to clarify- I never have any qualms about being critical of a person’s performance on the job, be it an athlete, a wait staff person, or a clerk at the DMV. What I do have qualms about is when people (we/us/fans) feel so damn comfortable assassinating an individuals character ie: labeling them as stupid, selfish, etc.

It’s not widely common here at all, especially when compared to social media, but it does happen on occasion and when it does it makes me cringe. (How millennial of me.)

Yeah, I think though that I did impugn his character a bit, particularly given I don't know for certain he is one of the guys who has done a lot of 'off the record' bitching to media types. He said what he said about Bienemy, that's a matter of record. I probably just should've stuck to what we know though.

We talked last night about the number of players under contract for 2024. According to Spotrac, Washington currently has 49 with the subtraction of Leno, Thomas, and Gates.

Players included in that number are: Jake Fromm (QB), Jalen Harris (DE), Joshua Pryor (DE), Julian Good-Jones (OG), Davion Davis (WR), Abdullah Anderson (DE), Keandre Jones (LB), Bryce Tremaine (WR), Brandon Bouyer-Randle (OLB), D'Angelo Mandell (CB), Nick Whiteside (CB), Alex Akingbulu (OT) (12)

All of those I listed are under contract for between $750k and $985K.

I think I'd pick Amazon Stadium as a last harrumph to Daniel Snyder and because Amazon-style cheerleading routines could be a lot of fun.

So titties out and a waist cloth? Count me in
