The Pigs revisit the incredible OT Jayden Daniels show vs. the Falcons, and talk playoff ramifications of a win against the dreaded Cowboys in Dallas.

Great job all.

Few things:

1. I don't know if Penix is good or not. Missing open guys is a big red flag that doesn't typically correct but can. I did like his poise. So he certainly has room.

2. I was never nervous during that game. The only, "uh oh" moment was the interception.

3. Neo, your wife is a great person by default - I, too, am a Phys Ed. Major and have my masters in Athletic Administration.

4. I have heard national media saying Jim Harbaugh should be COTY, or someone else. No one is considering Quinn. I find that odd.

5. Our run D isn't good enough with base personnel. We get creative in second halves (Payne at DE) and stop some teams, but then our pass D gets abused (see: Davis/BSJ)

6. Even I gave OZ a lot of credit. He has improved tenfold the last two weeks after the awful start last week. Except the big drop late... but we didn't lose so I don't remember that happening.

7. Good teams make their own luck. Luck = Preparation + Opportunity. We haven't been good so we haven't had luck.

8. Momentum is real - I've said it many times - even if we had the 7 locked up we need to play to win. We aren't Kansas City. Routine is important. Keep the pistons firing. When you sit guys it creates disruption. If we are going that route, we need to sprinkle subs in throughout the game. It cannot be at once. Keep routine/momentum.

9. I am wary of Dallas, moreso than either of our last two opponents. Their players are likely playing for McCarthy. That means they could be completely motivated (especially having a shot to hurt us) or completely ready to move on. I am uneasy this week. if Lattimore is out, and he likely will be, Ceedee Lamb is going to absolutely abuse us.

10. This pod was a lot classier this week. I can't quite figure out why...

I had a couple of ruh roh moments but the heart-stopping one was Jayden getting twisted like a pretzel on a sack. The season and the future flashed before my eyes. I still have no idea how he came out of that unscathed.

KDawg -- good stuff bro. Also, Dallas has shutdown Lamb. So, at least we don't have to face him.

BTW, The Joe Montana/John Candy comment was in the last minute of the Superbowl that ended in the John Taylor TD. Right before the start of that drive in the TV timeout.

And CRod does need more carries.
