WR - it seems like slim pickens (cuz we aren't signing pickens, nor do I want him, looks to be a player who gets paid and becomes a pain in the ass).I'm not so sure though that Deebo being gone is written in stone, likely yes. As far losing a 5th round pick, that trade was a win now addition after a run in which we made the NFC champ game, Peters couldn't have predicted Terry's holdout and the injuries that ensued last year, I'm not thrilled but I'm ok with losing the pick under those circumstances. I know the desire to get younger but I'd take Mike Evans on a cost effective deal
(local news here doesn't have him back in Tampa) and utilize the beejebies out of him in the red zone
and over the middle all damn DAY. Looking at the WR FA list from spotrac, I see most of the younger guys (under 28) staying put if they have legit talent.
RB - To be honest I wouldn't mind kicking the tires on BRob again, with this O line someone who can punish in between the tackles. I want Eitenne however
I don't foresee that happening.
OL - We're doing pretty good here from my point of view - without blowing the bank I don't see us improving a whole lot. Edit: Need to look at center now.
TE - I don't think the top tier guys hit FA, I see us with the cupboard we have, I just feel Sinnott will finally break out in a different system and have a solid year
QB - I'm also hoping Mariota resigns but I agree with CH , I don't want to even know the name of our backup QB because JD is healthy and rockin.
I spent most of this post on WR trying to match Boone's passion last week on the pod regarding wide outs.
Please note that I don't think Wentz is that bad of an option either, Boone please don't delete my user access because of this statement.
