Washington really needs to step up in its selection of prospects for the DL.

Picking guys in Round 1 isn't all that difficult, but it's been forever since this team was able to find that #4 or #5 pick that came in here as an edge rusher and really made a difference on defense.

different people making the picks now... can't be critical of the past and be asking these guys to step it up, they didn't make those picks.

No, but that's what I am looking forward to in 2024, the ability to use those picks in Rounds 3-7 to find some quality players at positions such as edge where starters often come from these days. A lot of these guys are projected from college linebacker and it's more art than science, so the opportunity to get someone and develop them into something special is there.

Bryce Huff is a prime example.
