The guys talk promising CB acquisition at the trade deadline, preview the Steelers, and make outrageous predictions. No existential threats to democracy made on this week's podcast!

I side with Bob a good bit on the Steelers, they haven't really beaten any top competition and lost to not so good teams. It's still any given Sunday but I think we can rattle Wilson, he doesn't have the ability to evade like he used to, defense will definitely have to stiffen up against the run in this game which could be problematic for us. If we we're away I'd not feel real good about this game, being at home even though it'll probably still be half full of Steelers fans I think we pull this one out like it's prom night. 27-17 Skins.

I think we make this a defensive battle and I like our running game better then theirs.

Steelers haven't faced an offensive team all year. And they lost to the Colts and Cowboys at home.

I think they are in for a wake up call.

Let me compliment the Commanders on playing complementary football :)

If anyone going to the game can get me a burgundy towel from the game I'll buy it and pay for shipping.

Not sure why the staff thinks we can afford to rest Robinson and Lattimore and win. Big gamble in the race for HFA.

Also knowing Thursday is a division game, they may think that letting them rest gives them a chance at Philly and that if they are dinged they likely would have trouble playing both. Besides, Lattimore probably still needs to work on the playbook unless he is to be used very predictably or in very limited packages anyway.

It's gonna be an old school punch fest I think

I agree that the Philly game is more important

I think this is another example of adults making adult decisions.

The hype of Pittsburgh coming to town is not going to 'press' the coaches and trainers to trot out their new toy, or their workhorse back, knowing that we have a 7-2 record and a serious playoff push coming, especially 4 days later against the team that's 1/2 game behind us in the division race. 10/10 if i knew we could only win 1 game over the next 4 days, its going to be vs Philly over vs Pitt. Now obviously i'm not conceding this weekend, and I don't think the coaches are either. They are likely very confident in the game plan we've had defensively over the last 9 games to get us here against some MUCH more explosive pass offenses. They also likely look at a Steelers defense that is top 5 vs the rush, and 20th vs the Pass and have coordinated their offensive game plan a certain way that B-Rob likely would not have been the focal point anyway. If we're just going to be ramming our heads into a wall with the rush offense and hopefully get 2 - 4 ypc to be 'effective', we can do that with McNichols and C-Rod.

I think Ekeler, and the quick pass game was ALWAYS going to be an extension of the run game this week, so not having B-Rob is not a step down like a lot of us may think it is.
