Back with the regular crew, we get some new takes on the incoming coaching staff so far, do some drill-down on our new coordinators, and make bold Super Bowl predictions.

Predictions:

Mark - Chiefs 27 - 49ers 23
Derek - Chiefs 27 - 49ers 23
John - 49ers - 31 - Chiefs - 29
Chris - Chiefs - 17 - 49ers - 16

Nice job, fellas!

Fun fact - in 1966, the Montreal Alouettes beat the Ottawa Rough Riders 1-0 in the CFL...the lowest scoring football game ever. So, it IS possible north of the border with our rule for the single. 😆

Please let the Chiefs win. I remember having to deal with my son when they lost in the conference championship vs. the Bengals ... it wasn't pretty and I certainly don't want to have to be a therapist in the event of a loss.

Re the Super Bowl matchups talk ... I do think the most interesting (and probably decisive schematic) matchup will be between Spagnolo's defense and Kyle's offense, but I can't help but share this tidbit about the other sides of the ball.

My guess is Kyle hides Chase in this game. As in, limits his snaps dramatically. He's a liability not just in terms of effort, but of understanding of his role and willingness/ability to do his job reliably. If I'm Andy Reid, I'm aching to have a chance to exploit that.
