On this week's Blind Pig, the guys relish a huge road win against the Cardinals, give tons of kudos, and worry about a potential trap game against what has to be a desperate Cleveland Browns squad next Sunday. Boundless optimism prevails!

There's a win, and there's a WIN, that was a WIN at AZ.

Our offensive line is playing well, it also helps Daniels is slippery in the pocket and mature enough that he recognizes he can step up in the middle and slip through. Excitement level so far this season, I'm at a 6 out of 10 at the moment. It must be noted under Rivera it'd be 1 out of 10 so the team for me is progressing well it's just a long season and we're in year 1 of essentially everything new. As stated on the pod it feels a like this could be a "trap game" "let down game" and for years it's a game we would lose. I believe we're shaking off demons past with competent coaching and ownership and I expect a 27-17 win against the Browns. Lot's of heavy runs, quick throws, I don't foresee a bunch of roll outs and 7 step drops with the Browns edge rushers. As far as DP's question about the D hitting the ceiling or is there more growth to the D to be anticipated. I'll paraphrase John "fuck if I know" so I'll go with the answer of "ok", which means nothing.

Thanks for entertaining my question on the pod! You guys are great!

I asked that question because there was some sentiment in the game chat that Whitt just didn't have the horses for the defense to perform how he wants. Loved the discussion and am warming up to your new series too: Cooking with Boone. :)
