We're doing a series of offseason overviews of our dreaded NFC East rivals - starting with evil incarnate, the Dallas Cowboys...

Great pod. I couldn't do it though because my hatred for all things Cowbums runs too deep.

I think Kerrigan was more than just a 10 sack guy. His leadership and professionalism is something these young guys could all benefit from. For what the Iggles signed him for it was a slap to the face.

Good riddance to Moses. The fact he wasnt snatched up tells me we were right in what we did. He was always one penalty away from killing a drive.

Godspeed, Sandy. You were always so sweet and kind. I hope you are comfortable now.

When it comes to Kerrigan, he’s one of those guys you just never hear a fan or talking head say anything bad about. I think his release had very little to do with what Rivera and company thought of him (and I’m sure they realized he could still play) and was a lot more about their focus on the future in building this team.

This is a team in full rebuild mode. We can talk about the value of experience and leadership and that’s not wrong. But the reality is, keeping a vet on the downside of his career means one less roster spot for a promising youngster who may be part of the future.

I think we’ve seen a number of decisions this year that clearly indicate the team favors future players even if it means letting a valuable guy who still has gas in the tank go.

I agree with all of that except the rebuild part. We just won the division and are looking to repeat. To me, rebuild means you have to start all over from the bottom and I just don't think we are that.

I hate to see Kerrigan fight all those years on terrible teams, be professional and amazing...just to get released right when we get dominant and have a real shot at making serious noise.

We won the division but it was against one of the weakest NFC East slates we’ve ever faced. House-cleaning started last year with Haskins and Trent Williams and continues up to today. We’re going to need roster cards this season to figure out who all of these new faces are :)

You need Om to record a theme song using those guits. 🎶🤘

Nice memorial, John. Great to see a celebration of Doc’s life instead of a focus on her ending. 👊🏼
