No, no and no to Aiyuk, only so much $$ in the receiver room and if San Fran is taking money back, there's more to this story than we know after they dolled out some duckets to make him "happy." We have other needs to address as well with the cap money we will have. As far as Jayden goes, like the last pod post, if he's 100% he plays if he's not he sits. Happy Thanksgiving everyone and as far as the Denver game goes, no new injuries please, all I ask.

Great pod guys. Derek - you must've felt like you finally got an opportunity to talk (hmmm?) - you were a mad man on this one. Really good stuff. I will say, I think the Jaylin Lane hype at the end smacked of wishful thinking. I don't see him being much more than an occasional deep threat or jet sweep kind of player for us but would love to be wrong. On the 'how to fan' discussion, I don't think it matters much whether we win more games in 2025. I'm much more of a 'every season is a separate entity' believer (in other words, I don't think good or bad 'juju' carries over from season to season whether a team finishes strong or limps to the finish line the prior year). It's much more about the quality of the coaching and the roster. There's no reason with some coaching tweaks and talent infusion (and most of all better injury luck) that this team can't be a playoff contender again in 2026 and what happens the rest of the way in 2025 probably doesn't have a lot to do with it.
