BGO Blind Pig: 2025 season a big question mark - but Daniels is not!

Well done, brothers. Def a hard episode to get going after such a draining loss - so, well done. Good perspective. And I 100% agree -- there are things to be concerned about -- but one of them is NOT JD5.

I don't even want to know what game day chat is like anymore, I jumped in for about 15 minutes for game 1 and had to leave before I felt the urge to break my laptop, I can't handle that much negativity and I'm no blind homer to our faults and misgivings. Bad shit happens to good teams on any given game day, that's how I feel about the loss to the Bears, everything that needed to go wrong for us, turnovers, penalties etc. went wrong. Why we didn't adjust to the bears stacking 6-7 in the box baffles my mind but I think when we're missing our number 1 offensive threat aside from JD only so much you can scheme. Now onto Dallas, I have us losing this game, only for one reason, I expect to see atrocious bs calls against us by the refs since we're in Dallas to help keep it close enough for them to squeak a win.

I am slowly but surely starting to shake off the loss. I will acknowledge that it was the ultimate team loss - all three facets of the team are to blame and had a hand in influencing the final result. On a positive note, our starting offense has basically not been together all of training camp, and we are still putting up points. Heck, as much as the Bears contained the run, we still managed 24 points with three turnovers, a missed FG, and guys with the names Moore, Lane, and McCaffrey being depended on to lead the receiving corps. If we were clean on offense, we could have eclipsed 40 easily. At the end of the day, the Bears are who we thought they were and we let ‘em off the hook.
