Basement Bar/ Man Cave Project

Here is Kelly and my latest project! All of the carpet will come out and we will put a slate tile floor in. The back bar wall and around the room 36" up I will use new growth heart pine flooring on the walls. The Bar top will be some old barn wood. The back bar will have a sink, with a beer tap, wine and beer under cabinet fridges. Above the back bar will be the TV as well. To the left of the back bar will have a recessed shelf for wine and wine glasses! Ohh and then we will get to the Redskins themed paint colors!

I have made some pretty good progress! I still see it being about a month or so before it is finished. I will start painting the green wall burgundy next weekend, and seal the bar. My cabinets are supposed to be here tomorrow, I will have some work to do to them since I ordered 12" deep wall cabinets and I am making them base cabinets. After that it will be on to the flooring!

Got the bar in working order! I still have to do the flooring, which will be cork, the bar foot rail and put the TV on the wall. I have a lot of Redskins stuff to put on the walls, but we will wait on that till we get furniture in there. Tomorrow evening we will be tapping our first keg (Hoppin Frog Gangsta Frog) and we have some people coming over. Glad it is all but done!
